I like the creativity I receive from using Apple products.
So, when Apple came out with the Apple pencil for the iPad Pro, it was natural for me to try it. It is a handy tool.
It looks just like a pencil. The majority of the developers who design apps for Apple have already updated their note taking apps to use the Apple pencil.
The apps I use are Microsoft OneNote, Capture Notes, Evernote, and Apple’s own note taking app.
How do I charge it? I remove the top and plug it into my iPad Pro down at the bottom beneath the home button. Depending on how weak your pencil is, it takes twenty to thirty minutes to fully charge.
Until September 16,
One of the nicest features of the iPad Pro is the split screen, which allows you to do more than one thing at the same time.
For example, if you are working in Pages or the Mac Version of Microsoft Word and would like to keep your email open, you can have both on your screen.
It is easy to do.
- Open up the first program you want to work in. It could be you would like to have Safari open, for example.
- Then, go to the side of your screen where the home button is and with your finger drag the second screen to the middle by touching a little tab you will see sticking out and drag the second screen out. If you have a program open in the background that program will come out on your second screen, but do not worry, you can change it. Go to the top of your second screen and pull down the little tab you see there. It will then reveal all the apps you have on your iPad Pro. Scroll down to pick the second program you would like to use. Voila!
See you again on September 2nd.
Until then, be safe.
It is about time I started doing what I said I was going to do and publish some ‘how to articles’ about my Apple products.
A couple of months ago, I purchased an iPad Pro. Do I love it? The answer is Yes!
Will it take the place of my MacBook Pro? No. However, it is a welcomed tool for a writer like myself that has the habit of waking up late at night and starts writing. So, I will be writing about my experiences with the iPad Pro and the features that I like the best.
A year ago, my iPhone 5 (yes, you are reading correctly, a year ago) was damaged. A defect, the display screen disconnected from the metal case, costs more to repair than getting a new one. So, since last August, I have needed a new iPhone, but I was so in love with my iPhone 5 that I sat on my hands and did nothing because it was still working. However, the reaction time was slow; it took ages to execute and move between apps. So, I have recently acquired the 6s plus.
Therefore, I will be looking at the iPhone 6s Plus and the iPad Pro, starting next Friday. I plan to do two articles a month.
Wishing you all of you a happy weekend.
